Doctors Employment Consortium (DEC) member

DEC exists to provide high quality, high volume provision of Locum Staff to the NHS via numerous supply models under the terms of National Framework Agreements for the provision of Locum Doctors (including Locum GP’s). LPP

London Procurement Partnership awarded supplier

Mediplacements have been awarded preferred supplier status by the London Procurement Partnership (LPP).The new temporary staffing supply contract was awarded on 18th October 2012 following a tendering and evaluation exercise conducted by Health Trust Europe (HTE), on behalf of the London Procurement Partnership (LPP) and associated London NHS Trusts.

Mediplacements have been selected as “preferred suppliers” of temporary staff within the Allied Health (AHP) and Health Science Services (HSS) categories.

LPP’s principal function is to make the most of the purchasing power of the NHS in London via LPP, bringing together the expertise of specialist staffing agencies to work in partnership with Trusts in order to maximise investment in patient care and services, whilst ensuring value for money through cost effective recruitment.

The new agreement with the LPP covers 43 NHS Trusts throughout North Central London, North East London, North West London, South East London and South West London.

International Nursing framework – Awarded Supplier

International Nursing framework – Awarded Supplier

The Placement Group has been awarded a place on the National Collaborative Framework agreement for the supply of International nursing and nursing-related staff. The agreement is open to the NHS and other public bodies throughout the UK and is collaboration between London Procurement Partnership (LPP), NHS Commercial Solutions, East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub and North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative. The Framework encompasses the recruitment of permanent nursing staff and fixed-term placements from within the UK and International recruitment (EU and non-EU). Staff provision will include all Nursing Services including Midwifery, Theatre, Dental Nurses, Health Visitors, Community Services and Mental Health. .

The Placement Group are delighted to announce yet another accolade for 2013 after retaining a place on Recruitment Internationals (RI) Top 250 recruitment agency report.

Recruitment International are one the leading voices of the UK and Global recruitment industry, who compile an annual list of the UK’s best performing recruitment businesses. The report is made up of recruitment companies both large scale and SME’s, covering multiple business sectors and ranking is based on individual performance, annual turn over and profitability.

HTE

HealthTrust Europe (HTE) awarded supplier

Mediplacements are an awarded supplier of Allied Health and Health Science staff on all temporary staffing frameworks procured by HealthTrust Europe.

HealthTrust Europe is a group purchasing organisation for the public and private sectors in the UK and Europe. The new frameworks include members encompassing 27 NHS Trusts in the Midlands as well as 43 NHS Trusts and bodies in London.

Healthcare Employment Consortium (HEC) Member

Mediplacements are delighted to confirm our inclusion within the Healthcare Employment Consortium Ltd (HEC). This innovative new approach to medical recruitment combines the expertise of several specialist medical agencies. The consortium enables us to provide vendor managed recruitment services under NHS National Framework agreement terms for the provision of temporary Allied Health Professionals and Health Science Services staff. HEC members are fully committed to working in partnership yet retain independence as private limited companies. Our core members are owner operated businesses with a combined trading history of over 60 years, all are Government Procurement Service (GPS) approved.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) - Awarded Supplier

Mediplacements as part of The Placement Group are an awarded Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supplier of temporary staff within Allied Health, Health Science and Medical Locums. This new agreement supersedes the previous framework administered by the Government Procurement Service (GPS). The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is a new centralized procurement service for Government, acting on behalf of the Crown, to drive savings for the taxpayer and improve the quality of commercial and procurement activity across the UK public sector. CCS brings together, as one organisation, Government Procurement Service (GPS), the commercial function of the Cabinet Office, and common goods and services procurement and commercial management currently undertaken by departments.
