Our Candidate Vetting Procedures’ meet and exceed the UK legal requirements and those set out by NHS PASA. The following ‘checks’ are completed for every Mediplacements applicant:
Employment History:
A full CV is obtained from every Candidate. This must include a full employment history with any gaps between employment fully explained and justified.
Qualifications:
All Qualifications are verified at source.
References:
Where possible; professional references are obtained to cover the last five year period. At minimum, the three most recent professional references are directly obtained and/or verified.
Professional Registration:
Written proof of registration with the relevant professional body is obtained (e.g. HPC etc.).
Verification of Identity:All Candidates are subsequently issued with an ID badge.
Immigration Status: Verification of the Candidate’s ‘Right to Work in the UK’ is obtained.
Police Checks:
We are a registered body with the Criminal Records Bureau (Registration Number: 21030900007) and all our Candidates are subjected to Enhanced CRB checks.
Health Screening:
All our Candidates are subjected to our obligatory health questionnaire, which forms part of our standard registration procedures.
Candidate Feedback Report:
Upon completion of each placement; our ‘Candidate Feedback Report’ will be forwarded for completion by the relevant Manager. This will enable us to keep an exhaustive record of all Locum performances.

This web site provides full details of our services and various interactive facilities. In addition, we are able to promote your vacancies on our web site enabling prospective candidates to view them and apply directly for them whilst on-line.
International Recruitment:
Our international marketing campaigns and support network enable us to identify a wide range of qualified overseas candidates for specific Clients. All Candidate screening is compiled at source and interviews can be conducted from the UK via our conference call or video conferencing facilities.
Referrals, Recommendations & Retention:
As with most successful services, a large proportion of our new enquiries are generated via personal recommendations. We actively encourage candidate ‘referrals’ and in addition, also support candidate retention by rewarding loyalty with CPD funds and membership within our loyalty ‘points scheme’.
Exhibitions:
We regularly exhibit at relevant UK trade events in order to support our industries, maintain our market presence and generate further candidate interest.
