Online Training
We're delighted to confirm the launch of a new online training and testing initiative specifically designed to help our temporary staff comply with the strict requirements of the new NHS Buying Solutions Framework Agreement.
Meditraining gives our candidates the option to log on at any time and at their own convenience. A choice of several courses are provided that require re-testing annually, including: Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Caldicott Protocols, Infection Control, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and Reporting of Injuries Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations.
Before taking the tests candidates can download course revision packs, once they are confident that their knowledge has been updated, they answer a series of multiple choice questions. The completed test results are then sent to Mediplacements for grading, and if satisfactory, a certificate is issued.
Steve Porter, Operations Director of Mediplacements, explains the initiative:

We fully support the rigour of the Framework’s training and testing requirements, but of course we wanted it to be as simple as possible for our staff to comply. Meditraining is quicker, more efficient, and our staff are finding the ability to log on at any time very convenient.”
