Consultant Interventional Radiologist Job London
Salary �74,000 to �100,000
. The appointment of a new member of the Radiology team is a key part of this development. The directorate is also in the process of developing Junior Doctors training posts in conjunction with Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals NHS Trust.
* Support the development of Stroke Services
* Develop in and out of hours General Interventional Services
In this role your responsibilities will include:
* Provide diagnostic and Interventional radiology support to the trust
* Provide Vascular Angioplasties and stenting below the neck. No head and neck interventional skills are required as the Trust has a separate neuro-interventional rota for this work.
* Provide all biliary stenting and urological intervention, including nephrostomy insertion and ureteric stenting and renovascular stenting and embolisation of AMLs.
* General intervention will include FNA's, Liver and Renal biopsies as well as para aortic nodal biopsies and all ultrasound and CT guided drainages.
* Embolisations will include, varicocele, iliac aneurysms, AVMs and AV fistulas in peripheries.
* Provide support to the relevant multi-disciplinary team meetings
* General Rota 1 in 6 On call for Interventional Radiology for the Trust and you are also part of the Neuroradiology Rota
