Clinical Fellow in PICM and Paeds Retrieval Job West Midlands
Salary £58000 to £74000. A Clinical fellow is required in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine and Paediatric Retrieval for this specialised NHS Hospital.
Based in the Midlands this job opportunity is for an experience Consultant in Paediatric Radiology to join a specialist NHS Trust. The PICU at the Hospital is the principal multi-disciplinary PICU for the population of the West Midlands. The Unit provides a spacious and comfortable working environment with 20 beds. The PICU has a high patient throughput with over 1200 admissions per annum. We are look for experienced trainee paediatricians, anaesthetists or trainees in Adult ICM or Emergency Medicine wishing to obtain experience in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine with the option of gaining experience in Paediatric Retrieval Medicine.
In this role you will be responsibilities will include:
* To develop and deliver clinical services within the Trust
* To participate in a teaching commitment to the PICU trainees
* Completing you On Call Commitments and to provide Cross Cover
* Contribute to Research undertaken within department or trust

* Existing Specialist or Specialty Registrars whose career choice would be enhanced by a period of training in PlCM (6-12 months) e.g. those pursuing careers in Paediatrics, Paediatric Cardiology, Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatric Anaesthesia, Paediatric Surgery or Adult Intensive Care.
* Those who have received their CCT in their parent specialty and are looking to broaden their experience before taking up a Consultant position,
* Doctors from overseas interested in gaining experience and education in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine in the UK.
