Mediplacements have been awarded preferred supplier status by the London Procurement Partnership (LPP).The new temporary staffing supply contract was awarded on 18th October 2012 following a tendering and evaluation exercise conducted by Health Trust Europe (HTE), on behalf of the London Procurement Partnership (LPP) and associated London NHS Trusts.
Mediplacements have been selected as “preferred suppliers” of temporary staff within the Allied Health (AHP) and Health Science Services (HSS) categories.
LPP’s principal function is to make the most of the purchasing power of the NHS in London via LPP, bringing together the expertise of specialist staffing agencies to work in partnership with Trusts in order to maximise investment in patient care and services, whilst ensuring value for money through cost effective recruitment.
The new agreement with the LPP covers 43 NHS Trusts throughout North Central London, North East London, North West London, South East London and South West London.
The Placement Group has been awarded a place on the National Collaborative Framework agreement for the supply of International nursing and nursing-related staff. The agreement is open to the NHS and other public bodies throughout the UK and is collaboration between London Procurement Partnership (LPP), NHS Commercial Solutions, East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub and North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative. The Framework encompasses the recruitment of permanent nursing staff and fixed-term placements from within the UK and International recruitment (EU and non-EU). Staff provision will include all Nursing Services including Midwifery, Theatre, Dental Nurses, Health Visitors, Community Services and Mental Health.

The Placement Group trading as Mediplacements, JustOT, JustPhysio and JustNurses are awarded suppliers of Doctors, Nurses and AHP/HSS staff by HealthTrust Europe (HTE). HTE is a group purchasing organisation for public and private sectors in the UK and Europe. The Total Workforce Solutions Framework agreement covers 90 Trusts.
TPG are also awarded suppliers for the National and International Permanent Recruitment Framework of healthcare workers including options for fixed-term and interim worker options by HTE. This agreement is OJEU compliant and is procured to assist the healthcare market develop a wider scope of workforce options.
