Mediplacements is currently recruiting for a Staff Grade Speech & Language Therapist to join a Primary Care paediatric service in East Galway and South Roscommon.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Speech & Language Therapist to support children and families within a community-based setting, working alongside two Senior Speech & Language Therapists as part of an experienced clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a paediatric caseload within a Primary Care setting.

Assess, diagnose and provide appropriate intervention for children with speech, language and communication needs.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support children's communication development.

Work collaboratively with families, carers and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure all care is delivered in line with professional standards.

Requirements

Qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.

Current CORU registration or eligibility to register.

Experience or an interest in paediatric Speech & Language Therapy.

Strong communication, organisational and clinical skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location

The role is based at Ballinasloe Health Centre, Brackernagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, covering the East Galway and South Roscommon Network.
