• Locum Podiatrist – Buckinghamshire

Mediplacements are recruiting for a Locum Podiatrist to work across Buckinghamshire.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Podiatrist with strong skills in high-risk patient management and complex wound care. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician who can work independently, manage a varied caseload and deliver high-quality, patient-centred podiatry services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage high-risk podiatry patients, providing appropriate treatment and ongoing care.
• Deliver advanced podiatry practice, including complex wound care and wound management.
• Independently manage your caseload, ensuring safe and effective clinical decision-making.
• Travel to various sites across Buckinghamshire to provide patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with professional standards.
• Participate in continuing professional development (CPD), clinical audit and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Podiatrist.
• Degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in advanced podiatry practice, including complex wound care.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage high-risk patients.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and involvement in audit or service improvement.
• A car driver is preferred, as travel across the county will be required.
