Locum B6 Podiatrist – Oxfordshire

Mediplacements are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Podiatrist to join a service in Oxfordshire on a locum basis.

The Role:

• Provide specialist podiatry assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Manage patients with at-risk foot health, including vascular, neurological and tissue viability concerns.
• Assess and manage painful gait abnormalities, including biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription.
• Manage onychocryptosis, including local anaesthetic and nail surgery.
• Manage an allocated caseload and provide appropriate ongoing care.
• Liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration.
• Previous Band 6 or equivalent podiatry experience.
• Experience managing high-risk foot and complex podiatry patients.
• Experience with biomechanics/orthotics and nail surgery.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car, with the ability to travel between locations.
