Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist – Child Development

Location: Shropshire / Telford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Duration: Approximately 6 months

Rate: NHSI capped rate

We are currently looking for 2 x Band 6 Speech & Language Therapists to join a Child Development service, primarily supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnostic pathways.

The Role

Work within Child Development Centres supporting children undergoing ASD assessment.

Complete Speech & Language Therapy assessments as part of the diagnostic process.

Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and discussions.

Provide specialist clinical input and recommendations.

Work collaboratively with families and other professionals.

Shrewsbury – Child Development Centre

Monkmoor Campus, Shrewsbury, SY2 5SH

Requirements

HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist.

Band 6 equivalent experience.

Paediatric experience.

Experience working with children with autism / neurodevelopmental needs is highly desirable.

Able to commit to 37.5 hours Monday–Friday.

Two positions available for an immediate start, with an initial booking of approximately 6 months.
