Locum Sonographer – Head & Neck Ultrasound & FNA

Location: Suffolk 

Duration: 4 months initially

Commitment: 1–2 days per week

Engagement: Direct Engagement

We are looking for an experienced Sonographer to support the department with Head & Neck Ultrasound and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA).

This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Sonographer looking for a regular locum commitment of 1–2 days per week, initially for 4 months, with the potential for extension.

The Role

• Undertaking Head & Neck Ultrasound examinations
• Performing/supporting Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)
• Working alongside the wider clinical and radiology team
• Providing a high standard of patient care and accurate clinical assessment
• Maintaining appropriate clinical documentation and governance standards

Requirements

• Relevant Sonography qualification
• Appropriate professional registration
• Proven experience in Head & Neck Ultrasound
• Experience with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)
• Previous NHS experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
