London Locum Outpatient Pharmacist Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Locum Pharmacist to support an Outpatient Pharmacy service on a temporary basis.

This role is ideal for a pharmacist with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centred approach to delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

Role Overview:

• Temporary locum cover within an outpatient setting
• Flexible weekday shift patterns across standard operating hours
• Opportunity to work as the Responsible Pharmacist within a busy clinical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a comprehensive and responsive outpatient pharmacy service
• Ensure safe, legal, and accurate dispensing of medicines
• Provide patients with clear counselling and advice regarding their medications
• Support the safe and effective use of medicines across the service
• Work collaboratively with clinical and healthcare teams
• Resolve medication-related issues and respond to patient needs efficiently
• Contribute to wider clinical pharmacy services where required

Essential Requirements:

• Current General Pharmaceutical Council registration
• Previous outpatient or hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong understanding of medicines governance, ethics, and legal frameworks
• Excellent communication skills with both patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying shift patterns
