This is a full-time, permanent role based in Preston, offering a salary of £45,000–£65,000 depending on experience. The position reports directly to senior leadership and offers significant ownership within a fast-growing, technology-driven healthcare operation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading day-to-day operational performance across dispensing, fulfilment, and warehouse functions
• Managing and developing operational teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Driving process improvement, productivity, and service delivery against key KPIs and SLAs
• Supporting governance, compliance, quality, and audit readiness
• Contributing to operational strategy and helping shape the future growth of the business

Must have experience in 

• 20,000+ items/month minimum personal operational accountability
• Hub and spoke, distance selling, online or digital pharmacy, or centralised dispensing background. Community pharmacy considered only with clearly demonstrated volume, leadership scope, and digital mindset.
• Hands-on floor leader — this is not a desk role
• Digital-first mindset — comfortable with proprietary systems and technology-driven operations
• Registered pharmacist or ACT preferred; other backgrounds considered with strong direct experience
