Getting to know Us
Hello! - we provide NHS Talking Therapies to clients with common mental health presentations, such as anxiety and depression. We currently support clients across the following practice areas:
Basildon & Brentwood
Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire
Calderdale
Derbyshire
Kent & Medway
Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland
Newcastle
Nottingham
West Essex
Unable to work within the practice areas? No problem!
We are searching for PWPs who wish to work remotely. Specifically in our Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, Nottingham, Derbyshire and Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland services.

Making People Better
As a qualified PWP, you have a vital role to play in the service we provide to our clients.
Using your clinical expertise, you will assess the suitability of new referrals through telephone assessments and provide short term, low intensity interventions via telephone, online webinars, and computerised CBT (CCBT). Where needed, you will work closely with colleagues at Steps 3 and 4, and external services, to support safe onward referrals and step ups, at all times maintaining and advocating for patient dignity, confidentiality and inclusivity.
Getting to know You
Each PWP brings their own unique skills, background, and experiences to their practice. Alongside this, we are also looking for:
A Graduate/Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Low Intensity Interventions (Adults)
BABCP or BPS registration or pending registration (if returning to practice and not sure how to meet registration requirements, we are happy to discuss prior to interview)
Experience of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem
An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
