Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician – London
Mediplacements are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician to join a reputable hospital pharmacy team based in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and highly organised technician with a strong background in clinical trials and hospital pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and coordination of clinical trials within the pharmacy department
- Dispense and organise investigational medicinal products (IMPs) in line with study protocols and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate clinical trial documentation and pharmacy records
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and research-related documents
- Ensure compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and UK Clinical Trials Regulations
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists, research teams, sponsors, and wider healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the safe, effective, and efficient running of the clinical trials pharmacy service
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within a hospital pharmacy clinical trials service
- ACT Accreditation
- Experience dispensing and organising clinical trials
- Demonstrated experience writing SOPs and research documentation
- Strong understanding and experience working within ICH Good Clinical Practice and UK Clinical Trials Regulations
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or recognised equivalent qualification
- Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with mandatory CPD maintained
