Locum Paediatric Sonographer – Ongoing Requirement (Midlands, UK)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Sonographer for an immediate locum opportunity within a busy NHS Trust. This is an ongoing, long-term requirement across multiple sites.

Working Pattern

Minimum 2 days per week (Wednesday to Friday only)

Working hours: 08:30/09:00 – 17:00 (depending on site)

Candidates must be available to work between Wednesday and Friday

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality paediatric ultrasound examinations

Work flexibly across all three Trust sites

Provide clinical supervision and support to student sonographers

Maintain high standards of patient care and safety

Essential Requirements

HCPC registration

Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound

Paediatric ultrasound qualification (PG Cert or Diploma preferred)

Extensive experience in paediatric ultrasound scanning

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to travel between sites

Ability and willingness to mentor/supervise students
