About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in North West England on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist aseptic unit, preparing sterile products to support patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble aseptic products, including chemotherapy and other sterile preparations, in accordance with GMP and local protocols

Work within cleanroom environments, maintaining strict aseptic techniques at all times

Perform environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards

Accurately complete documentation and batch records

Support the maintenance and validation of equipment used in aseptic services

Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure timely supply of medications

Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent)

Accredited Aseptic Preparation/Compounding qualification (desirable)
