Mediplacements are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Neurophysiology Specialist to support community clinics on an ad-hoc basis. This is a flexible opportunity with weekday-only working, dependent on room and machine availability.

Band 6 Neurophysiology Specialist

Location: Community-Based Role

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Ongoing / Ad-Hoc

Working Pattern: Weekdays Only – Ad-Hoc Shifts

The successful candidate will be an experienced and autonomous practitioner with strong Neurophysiology experience, particularly within upper limb nerve conduction studies (NCS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently performing upper limb nerve conduction studies (NCS)
• Producing accurate and confident clinical NCS reports
• Working autonomously within community clinic settings
• Supporting EEG services for both adult and paediatric patients where required
• Maintaining high clinical and professional standards at all times

Requirements:

• Band 6 Neurophysiology Specialist with a recognised qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-basic experience
• Strong experience in upper limb NCS
• Ability to work independently and manage clinics autonomously
• Confident in producing detailed clinical reports
• Experience performing EEGs on adults and children is desirable
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to community clinic locations
