Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Specialist Cardiac Physiologist (Invasive/Devices) to join our dynamic cardiology team at Lincoln County Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and supportive department, delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and assist in a range of invasive cardiac procedures including angiography and PCI

Independently implant, analyse, and follow up on cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices)

Provide technical support during complex electrophysiology procedures

Interpret and report diagnostic findings accurately

Ensure patient safety and maintain high clinical standards at all times

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Essential Skills & Experience

Extensive experience in invasive cardiology procedures

Proven competency in cardiac device implantation and follow-up

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and within a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant qualifications in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent

Desirable Criteria

IBHRE/BHRS accreditation or equivalent

Previous NHS experience at Band 7 level
