Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch break)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Obstetric Sonographer to join our team on a full-time contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans across all areas of obstetrics, in line with ASW guidelines, ensuring accurate assessment and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a full range of obstetric ultrasound examinations in accordance with ASW guidelines

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of findings

Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety

Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and clear explanations

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including consultants, midwives, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to infection control protocols

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound / Sonography

Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound scanning

Strong knowledge of ASW guidelines and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Registration with a relevant professional body (if applicable)
