Mediplacements are currently seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist for a locum role in Essex.

The pay for this position is £22 - £25 per hour, we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Shift Pattern: 8.15 - 16.15 Monday to Friday

Role; This is a High risk service:

• Candidates will require to have good wound care skills and experience, including infection detection, offloading, specialist dressing knowledge, when to escalate.
• Candidates will be proficient in manual ABPI, Toe Pressure and Blue Dop (optional)
• Candidates will need to be able to assess and treat urgent new patients and understand the pathways within the diabetic foot.

To be responsible for the assessment diagnosis, planning implementation and evaluation of Podiatric care to a variety of patients with a wide range of clinical needs including:

• Diabetes
• Vascular Disease
• Rheumatological disease
• Wound management
• Neurological disorders
• Nail Surgery
