Mediplacements are currently looking to recruit an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology for a locum vacancy in Dundee.

The pay for this position ranges from £25 per hour. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible working full-time.

Description:

• We are looking for an experienced Specialist Biomedical Scientist to cover core and specialist tasks within the Haematology laboratory

Essential experience:

• Core Haematology Blood Film Morphology Malarial parasite screening and identification Sickle test / haemoglobinopathy screening

Desirable experience:

• Use of Clinysis Labcentre / Winpath Enterprise Laboratory IT systems Use of Siemens Advia 2120 analysers Use of ACL Tops coagulation analysers Specialist Coagulation / factor assays

SHIFTS:

• Day shift, late, night and weekend shifts
