Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in South Yorkshire.

The pay for this position is £23-£28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Working hours: Mon -Fri 9.00- 16.00

Job Description:

• Essential to be trained and competent to provide dysphagia assessments and interventions, and have transport to be able to visit clients in the community.
• Ideally have experience providing neuro rehab in a community setting to people with long term neurological conditions, esp Parkinson's disease, Multiplesclerosis, Motor Neuro Disease.
• Have transport to be able to visit clients in the community
• They will need to have the appropriate competencies to be able to deliver dysphagia assessments (swallowing) and work unsupervised in a community setting.
• They will need own transport to be able to travel around the city , visiting clients in own homes.
• We are looking for someone with experience working with clients with progressive long term neurological conditions including MS, Parkinson's disease, MND, HD as part of a multidisciplinary community neuro rehabilitation team.
• Initially looking for someone for 3-4 months.
