Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 5 Pharmacy Technician to work at a hospital in Surrey.

The pay for this position is £25 - £32 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on-going duration.

Successful candidates must have an NVQ level 3 and be registered with the GPHC.

Job Description:
The Senior Pharmacy Technician (Clinical and Dispensary) plays a key role in delivering a safe, patient focused clinical pharmacy service by carrying out medicines reconciliation, supporting medicines optimisation, counselling patients, and ensuring continuity of medicines supply from admission through discharge. The post holder contributes to the efficient daily running of the dispensary, including dispensing, stock management, and accredited final accuracy checking, while maintaining high professional standards and compliance with legal, clinical, and organisational policies. Working closely with pharmacists, technicians, ward staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team, the role also includes supervising and training junior staff and trainees, supporting audits and quality improvement, and helping drive service development to ensure consistent, high quality care across the Trust.
