We are recruiting an experienced Obstetric Sonographer for a leading private health clinic based in Limerick City, Ireland. This is an opportunity for either a permanent full-time position or a locum / temporary contract (Outside IR35), depending on candidate preference.
You will be responsible for performing the full range of obstetric ultrasound examinations (early pregnancy, NT, anomaly), with gynaecological scanning considered a bonus. You'll work in a patient-centred private practice environment, delivering high standards of diagnostic imaging and collaborating with medical colleagues to ensure excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform obstetric ultrasound scans including early pregnancy, NT (nuchal translucency), anomaly screening
* Optional: gynaecological ultrasound imaging if you have the experience
* Ensure high diagnostic image quality, accurate reporting, and patient comfort
* Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the clinical team
* Uphold clinic protocols, professional standards, and continuing professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
* BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 2-3 years post-graduate experience in a clinical/sonography setting, including obstetric scanning
* CORU registration (essential) - HCPC candidates will be considered
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills; attention to detail; working independently
* Gynae scanning experience desirable, not required

Contract Details
* Engagement Type: Permanent or Locum
* Duration: Immediate start - ongoing booking
* Schedule: Monday - Friday
* Location: Private Clinic
* Locum Rate: 75 per hour | Outside IR35
* Salary: Highly competitive market rates commensurate with experience.
