Obstetric Sonographer - Insourcing Role

Up to £600 per day (approx. £80 per hour)
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (7.5 hours per day)
Payment Method: LTD Company - Outside IR35

We are urgently seeking an experienced Obstetric Sonographer to join our insourcing service and support maternity ultrasound capacity in the region. This is a crucial role offering a competitive locum rate of £600 per day.

Key Responsibilities:
* Independently perform obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound scans in line with RCOG and BMUS guidelines.
* Provide evidence of DQASS cycles in line with first trimester screening.
* Deliver high-quality diagnostic reports, counselling, and patient care in obstetrics and early pregnancy.
* Adapt scanning techniques to meet patient needs while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
* Support student sonographers and junior staff through training and supervision.

Requirements:
* Green-flagged DQASS
* HCPC registered Sonographer / Midwife Sonographer with significant post-registration experience.
* PG Certificate in Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ultrasound (or equivalent).
* Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
* Ability to work autonomously and deliver sensitive information with empathy.
* Experience in fetal medicine and early pregnancy scanning desirable.

Contract Details:
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 3-6 months - ongoing
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (7.5 hrs per day)
* Rate: £600 per day / £80 per hour
* Payment Method: LTD Company - Outside IR35
