Mediplacements are seeking to recruit a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist for a locum vacancy in London.

The pay for this position is £25 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Job Description:
Multidisciplinary BMS with at least 18months experience as a band 6.
Maintaining and running Cobas C311 Biochemistry analyser, DxH 800 Haematology analyser, IH 500 Blood Transfusion analyser, ACL TOP 500 & 300 coagulation analysers.
Experienced in Crossmatching and issue of blood products. Ability to use blood track.
Able to run IQCs and deal with IQC failures
Validate and authorise patient results using Winpath Entreprise.
Ability to run microbiology samples using Gene Xpert PCR equipment.

Any specific requests: Experienced Band 6 to cover day and night shifts
