Mediplacements are looking to recruit a Private Practice Graduate Speech Pathologist for a permanent position with our client in North West Queensland.

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist for a new hospital locum role in North West Queensland.

In this role, you will be covering a rural generalist caseload including paediatrics and adults, a mixture of inpatients and outpatients. You will also be joining a vibrant Allied Health team made up of around 40 staff across a variety of health disciplines and working alongside two senior Speech Pathologists.

The team is very social and inclusive and there will also be opportunities for visiting local sites and weekend camping trips if interested, as well as coming into rodeo season which is very big in the North West!

This locum position is for 4 months, from March-June 2024.

About You:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
Relevant registration
Active listener and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated high standard of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong time management and organisation to ensure effective teamwork
Current drivers licence
Working with children check
Eligible to work permanently in Australia
