Mediplacements are seeking a driven and motivated band 7 Diabetes Dietician to work at our client's hospital in Nottinghamshire.

The pay for this position is £27-£35 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must be HCPC registered.

Role Purpose:
This role requires a high level of clinical and professional expertise so adults, their carers and families benefit from a well-coordinated pro-active, specialist, efficient and effective service within the IDD Dietetic Service.
The post holder is responsible for providing highly specialist assessment, requiring advanced clinical reasoning, critical thinking, reflection and interpretation and analysis, and subsequent therapy/management programmes. This will include individual assessment, individual and group therapy and management, training, advice and liaison through a consultative and coaching approaches, as appropriate.
The post holder will lead on strategic developments within their specialism in liaison with their line manager. They will also lead on the development and delivery of training and professional mentorship.
The post holder will deliver preventative information and guidance, working to empower parents, carers, other professionals and agencies.
The post holder will work as part of the wider multi- disciplinary team providing a high quality, effective, accessible, person and family- centred services.

The service includes individually tailored therapy and management, training, advice and a
consultative approach. Input is on a one on one basis and consultation and training may be provided to train staff as required. In addition to direct client management the role requires input at a strategic level, management of junior Dietetic colleagues, student Dietitians on placement and day to-day management of the Dietetic Patients Referrals
