Mediplacements have an excellent locum opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to work with one of our NHS clients in Wales.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate must hold a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or a DMU in Medical Ultrasound,and must be proficient in conducting Abdominal, Gynae, Small Parts and MSK scanning.

This locum assignment is to cover a vacant post so is of an ongoing nature.

Accreditation qualification in diagnostic ultrasound. Diagnostic sonographer to undertake various examinations including abdominal, gynaecological, MSK and soft tissue scans. Vascular ultrasound may also be advantageous. Use of ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic imagines in accordance with BMUS guidelines to produce a report for the referrers

Pay / Terms / Requirements
Pay: £36 - £41 per hour (dependant on experience and payment method)

This locum role with be Monday - Friday,the locum will be scanning pregnant women and also to mentor a midwife undergoing 3rd trimester scanning training.
