Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a Locum Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist for a job in Lancashire.




*Pay between 32- 38 per hour D.O.E.

As a Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist, you will be required to support, promote and implement high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective and safe use of medicines.

This includes patient medication reviews, helping practices achieve prescribing targets and supporting the implementation of national and local guidance to improve patient care.

You will also be required to act as a specialist resource to GP Practices, answer medicines-related queries, signpost to other services and to liaise with other healthcare professionals, including secondary care when required.

To qualify for this position, it is essential that you hold an MPharms Degree and hold a Post Graduate Clinical Diploma or Similar along with UK GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.

It is desirable that you have experience working in GP Practice or significant Clinical Hospital experience to be consider for this position.
