Bradford District Care Trust is giving podiatry patients the chance to improve the service which is being delivered to them.

They are being invited to have their say and shape the future of foot health provisions in West Yorkshire.

Speaking to the Bradford Telegraph and Argus, Helen Kirk, the podiatry team leader, said: "It’s important service users and carers have their say, as they can help shape the future of what we do."

She added that the whole community can be treated for podiatry issues, ranging from babies to the elderly, with issues including nail cutting to supplying supportive insoles or correcting deformities.

Those who suffer from diabetes, arthritis or blood circulation problems will also find podiatry services useful, along with people who have corns and calluses, athlete's foot or pain through flat feet.

The first consultation event is being held at Central Hall in Keighley on April 24th, with a further session at the Great Victoria Hotel in Bradford on May 15th.
