The pay for this position is £60,000 per annum and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on-going duration.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to lead our efforts in establishing General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration for our distant selling pharmacy.

Job Summary:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the process of obtaining GPhC registration for our distant selling pharmacy. This role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve a successful registration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GPhC regulations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
* GPhC Registration Process:
o Lead and manage the application process for GPhC registration.
o Ensure all documentation and evidence required by the GPhC are prepared and submitted accurately and promptly.
o Liaise with GPhC inspectors and officials to address any queries or additional requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure the pharmacy complies with all GPhC standards and guidelines.
* Stay updated with changes in pharmacy regulations and incorporate them into the pharmacy's operations.
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive SOPs that align with GPhC requirements.

Experience Needed
* Proven experience in a pharmacist role, preferably within a distant selling or online pharmacy environment.
* Strong knowledge of GPhC regulations and the registration process.
* Experience in developing and implementing SOPs.
