Mediplacements is currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant for an ongoing locum role with our client located in Surrey.

The pay for this position is £12- £14 per hour and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible working full-time.

Brief Job Description: Candidates needs to:
* Have good verbal and written communication skills
* Be able to work alongside other Biomedical Support Workers and Biomedical Scientists as part of a team
* Be able to perform duties which includes preparing samples for analysis, inputting patient data, maintaining lab equipment and dealing with enquiries

Previous pathology experience essential.

The duties of this position include all tasks related to a Medical Laboratory Assistant. These may include, but are not limited to, preparing samples for testing, performing basic laboratory procedures, and assisting with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Professional registration or qualifications are not required for this position, however, experience in a similar role is preferred.
