Mediplacements is currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant for an ongoing locum role with our client located in Worcestershire.

The pay for this position is £11-£13 per hour and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible working full-time.

We would require someone who has experience of working in a clinical laboratory pre-analytics setting.
Ideally in blood sciences (Biochemistry or Haematology) and previous experience working with Winpath LIMS would be an advantage.

Shifts would include:
Weekday: earlies (06:30 to 14:30), cores (09:00 to 17:30) lates (12:00 to 20:00 and 14:00-22:00) and nights (21:00 to 06:30) and weekends
And occasional weekend shifts which are shared between the team.

The duties of this position include all tasks related to a Medical Laboratory Assistant. These may include, but are not limited to, preparing samples for testing, performing basic laboratory procedures, and assisting with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Professional registration or qualifications are not required for this position, however, experience in a similar role is preferred.
