Mediplacements are recruiting for a Band 7 Speech Therapist to work on an Adult locked rehab ward in our client's hospital based in Nottingham.

Hours: 15 hours - 2 days a week
Start Date: January 2023
Duration: March 2023 - potential to extend passed this date
Travel: N/A

Skills required / Qualifications needed:

This is a male locked rehab ward for adults. The overall purpose is to support the inpatient population back to living well in the community having undertaken bespoke therapy to reduce their risks and increase their ability to succeed in community settings.

It is run by a multidisciplinary team, you will be instrumental in the holistic formulation of the individual's needs and care plans by adding a functional and environmental communication perspective to the discussion.

The Speech & Language Therapy provision includes support from a Speech & Language Therapy assistant (2 days a week). The role includes clinical management and supervision for the SLT assistant colleagues in the team.
