Mediplacements have an excellent locum opportunity for an experienced Sonographer to work with one of our NHS clients in London.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate must hold a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or a DMU in Medical Ultrasound,and must be proficient in conducting Abdominal, Gynae, Small Parts and MSK scanning.

Qualification - HCPC Registration and PgC/D Medical Ultrasound

Pay: £38 - £46 per hour (dependant on experience and payment method)
Duration of assignment: Ongoing
Type: Temp
Time: 37.5 hours per week
Position: Sonographer
Skills/Experience - Abdominal and gynae US, MSK ultrasound (upper and lower)

Job Description
The Lead sonographer functions as a highly experienced sonographer, working under the delegated authority of the Directors, and is responsible for the overall daily management of the clinic.
The Lead Sonographer's role and responsibilities are focused on providing leadership to ensure the delivery of safe and efficient patient care. Activities are performed in accordance with clinic policies and procedures and applicable professional standards.
