Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a Head of Radiopharmacy locum role in Cambridgeshire

As a Radiopharmacy Pharmacist/Scientist your responsibility will be procurement, preparation, quality control and supply of radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring the safety and efficiency of such products.
Duties include:
*Lead the strategic development of Radiopharmacy services within the Trust in collaboration with commissioners of the service.
*Provide specialist expertise and have responsibility within the Trust for Radiopharmacy management.
*Be responsible for Clinical Governance of radiopharmacy provision.
*Be responsible for the development of strategic plans for Radiopharmacy service and management to ensure services provided are progressive, responsive and efficient.
*Support researchers on the translation of new products into the manufacturing environment.
*Be responsible as Quality Controller for the release of radiopharmaceuticals and be named as such on the Manufacturing Specials licence.
*Be responsible for the delivery of a cost effective service, establishing and meeting financial budgets.
*Be responsible for ensuring EU GMP requirements and regulatory expectations are met and to ensure maintenance of the MS licence.
*Act as a Medical Physics Expert for Radiopharmacy and as a Radiopharmacy Operator.
Be responsible for the training and development of Radiopharmacy staff to ensure their competency.
