Mediplacements are currently recruiting for a Locum Clinical Pharmacist to cover ward based duties for a large NHS Client in Surrey.

*Pay £38 ph

*Specialist Womens and Childrens Pharmacist
*Full time - Mon-Fri (8:45 - 5:15)
* To act as the lead pharmacist for Paediatrics and Maternity Services. Develop the provision of clinical pharmacy services to the Paediatrics and Maternity Service Lines in accordance to the needs of the user and the required standards of quality and professional practice.
* Provide specialist pharmaceutical advice to medical and nursing staff on drugs for paediatric, neonatal and maternity patients.
* Co-ordinate the provision of chemotherapy to paediatric and adolescent patients in conjunction with the designated tertiary centres.

Ward pharmacy duties include- medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of drug charts, assembly and checking of discharge prescriptions (TTOs), ordering medication, counselling patients, providing pharmaceutical advice to doctors and nurses. Experience in E-Prescribing beneficial

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold an MPharms Degree along with UK GPhC registration.
