Mediplacements are recruiting for Deputy Chief Pharmacist to cover a Locum assignment for a large NHS client in Essex.

* Experience of working as a deputy chief pharmacist in an NHS trust, preferably including medication safety.

You will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and development of specialist clinical pharmacy services throughout the Trust (including those areas where the service is provided under service level agreement).
Deputise for the Chief Pharmacist in the whole range of their duties in their absence.
Lead on behalf of the Chief Pharmacist/Trust on specific delegated projects, both within the Trust, and with external organisations.

Ideally you will hold a Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy along with 3 years post registration and managerial experience within a hospital setting.

It is essential that you hold UK GPhC registration.
