We are looking for a Dietitian to work with our client based in Hampshire.Acute/ Oncology Dietitian

*To work within the Acute Dietitian Team to deliver specialist dietetic service, including enteral nutrition, to patients, and their carers, with a cancer diagnosis undergoing single or multi-modal Oncological treatment at Queen Alexandra Hospital.
*To work autonomously within a variety of multidisciplinary teams including Head and Neck, Hepatobiliary, Gynaecological, Gastrointestinal and Haematological cancer, to provide outpatient care - liaising closely with Oncologists and Clinical Nurse Specialists within consultant-led clinics, CNS-dietetic joint clinics, and dietetic telephone clinics.
*To act as a resource for Cancer Multidisciplinary Teams by representing dietetics and promoting the role of nutrition within patient care, through staff, patient and carer education opportunities.
*To represent Macmillan Services with cancer care - accessing Macmillan resources and contributing to Macmillan annual service report.
*To act as a resource to the Acute dietetic team, supporting & supervising a dietetic support worker, and junior dietitians.
*To assist the Team Lead in developing Acute dietetic team resources, skills and knowledge - ensuring continuity of care across local and regional dietetic services.
*A highly skilled clinical expert with specialised knowledge and compassionate approach in caring for patients and their carers.
