Mediplacements are recruiting for an experienced Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician for a locum role in Dorset.Medicine Management Pharmacy Technician
Banding: Band 5
Start Date: ASAP
Ongoing
*Medicines management duties on the wards, undertaking medicines reconciliation, patient's own drug assessments, patient counselling and reducing unnecessary wastage on discharge by managing the medication supply pathway and providing a one-stop dispensing service.
*Dispensary duties including checking dispensed medicines as Accredited Checking Technician (ACT).
*Assist in the day-to-day supervision of Technicians, ATOs and student technicians.
*Suggest changes to pharmacy practice and contribute to wider policies.

Registered Pharmacy Technician with knowledge of JAC computer system -medicines management experience required.
