Mediplacements are looking to recruit a locum Band 6 Audiologist to work with one of our well respected clients based in Dublin. This role is due to start immediately for an ongoing position working full time hours, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, However will consider part time.

Locums must have be RCCP Registered and have been registered for 2 years.

This client is offering excellent rates of pay between £23-£27 p/h.

The locum will be responsible to the head of operational services and principle audiologist.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide a person centered, evidence-based audiology service in line with best practice.
To provide the highest standards of patient care.
To provide an MDT approach in their clinical work where appropriate.
To maintain and develop professional standards (including quality assurance standards) in the
light of changing practices both within and outside the profession.
To keep abreast of new developments, skills and technology in order to initiate and respond to
changes in the work environment.
To follow policies and procedures to support safety, best practice and service provision.
Support any changes in technology and assist in the implementation and operation of these
changes.
Actively promote continuous professional education and development, including supervision of
trainees, and identify training needs of team staff.
To be actively involved in the teaching of Audiology to junior staff and students, including
clinical education and supervision, and in maintaining good liaison with staff of all grades and
disciplines.

Duties will include, Audiology service, ENT clinics and repairs and fittings. Newly qualified Audiologists will be considered. The successful candidate must have Tinnitus/Balance and Specialist Paediatric experience.
