Mediplacements are recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of an Adult Neuro Inpatient team in London.

Band: 6
Specialty: Acute Neuro Inpatient
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months

Candidates must have experience in Acute Neuro and Inpatients and be HCPC registered.

Brief Job Description:Management of communication and swallowing disorders (Dysphagia trained) of inpatients on the acute and neurological wards, including AMU, ITU, HASU, Gastro, Respiratory, Care of the Elderly and other related wards

Any specific requests: Must be trained and independent in Adult Dysphagia
Ideally the candidate will be tracheostomy trained, ventilator trained and will have experience referring into Videofluoroscopy and FEES clinics.
Experience in supervising junior staff members would also be ideal
