Mediplacements are looking for an experienced Biomedical Scientist in Toxicology for a job vacancy in Worcestershire.

Salary:
Position: BMS in Toxicology
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6-9 months (possible extension)
Location: Worcestershire

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Attain, assimilate and report data associated with the validated activities within the lab
*Compile a register of the validated methods across multiple sites
*Compile a register of systems and spreadsheets used within all laboratories

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
*Desirable - science degree or comparable experience.
*Desirable - validation/ QA experience in a laboratory environment.

COMPETENCIES:
*Aptitude for problem solving with a keen interest in process improvement in method development, lab processes and quality, demonstrable experience preferred
*Shows accountability and demonstrates ownership of their world
*Resilient manner, capable of working in a fast moving and busy environment
*Excellent attention to detail
*Self-motivated individual who is dynamic and tenacious
*Works flexibly and well under pressure
*Able to take ownership of own work, and an awareness of when to solve a problem themselves or to ask their manager for help
*Takes pride in work
*Has a "Can do", positive and happy to help attitude
