Mediplacements are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to assist in the running of a modern care home in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Job Description - Clinical Lead Registered Nurse
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Location: Oxford
Salary: 40,000

The Care Home, set in the picturess village of Abingdon has a superb reputation of caring for their clients. They are currently looking for a Clinical Lead to maintain their high standards

General Overview of Job Description:-
The Clinical lead RN is the support for the wings when the manager is unavailable and for supervising, directing, coaching and mentoring their assigned core group of staff.

Duties and responsibilities include all those required of a Clinical nurse as well as:
Plan and Coordinate clinical requirements for staff and liaise with line manager regarding any identified training needs for staff are identified and met based on the needs of the service.
To collaborate with fellow Clinical leads and managers to resolve issues and improve standards of care throughout the home.
Collaborate with the Home managers in the interview process for new applicants ensuring recruitment and retention of the highest quality of applicants.
Mentor/coach staff to enhance their professional development role modelling good practice at all times.
Assesses the performance of assigned new staff including Entry level nurses, care assistants, and others providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
Provide clinical/education updates and skills and competency check offs to all staff on a regular structured basis.

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 4years experience as a RN, (one year as a lead nurse/clinical lead preferred) in addition to this all incumbents must show an aptitude to leadership, self awareness, the ability to recognise and nurture the qualities in their staff.
