The Home sits prominently within the beautiful grounds of 55 acres of privately owned woodland near Stourbridge. Set in a perfect, tranquil setting in a corner of England's glorious countryside the home enjoys some beautiful views of the grounds.
This historical manor house is now a private residential and nursing home for the elderly
The care home registered with the Care Quality Commission. It has 44 rooms and aims to provide comfortable accommodation and both nursing and residential care.
The Home sits in a rural location 20miles west of Birmingham
Job Role
This exciting opportunity is open to registered nurses of a senior level looking to move into a managerial position.
The successful candidate will assist in efficient running of the care home, paying particular attention to health and safety, and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the client.
You will play a principal role in ensuring the organisation's objectives in relation to the clinical, nursing and care operations are achieved.
Promote personalisation and continuation of client care which can be easily identified through a collaborative approach to care planning
Ensure that all procedures within the homes are followed correctly i.e. notification of deaths, reporting of accidents and near misses, RIDDOR, creation and review of risk assessments etc.
Allocate and delegate responsibilities to each employee within nursing and care teams and to monitor the quality and thoroughness of their work.
Produce an efficient Off Duty to agreed staffing levels and with an appropriate skill mix for the nursing and care teams which are planned at least 6 weeks in advance to facilitate holiday booking and absence cover.
Be part of the nurse team rota and take on an appropriate share of general duties.
