This page aims to give you a brief guide to the counties inside Mediplacements Sole Supplier contract areas. We hope this gives you a little more insight to the beautiful areas we could place you throughout the UK. The current contracts listed below are East of England, South Central, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, and London.

East of England

East of England is comprised of four counties; Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. There is a useful website with information on the whole area called http://www.visiteastofengland.com

Norfolk

Norfolk is a popular tourist destination; major attractions include beaches, the Broads, and the city of Norwich. The Queen's residence of Sandringham provides an all year round attraction. Suffolk

Situated in East Anglia, Suffolk is the 8th largest county in England and without doubt one of the most beautiful. Unspoilt and ancient villages combine with historic and picturesque market towns to provide a wealth of fabulous and famous heritage buildings. Essex

Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire

The Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire contract is comprised of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Luton and Dunstable. Located to the North of London it provides easy access to the city.

Bedfordshire

The county of Bedfordshire, situated 30 miles from London, is the gateway to the Midlands and East Anglia. Set in a rich rural landscape of gently rolling countryside, meandering rivers and pretty villages, the county is an attractive place with many areas of outstanding natural beauty. Hertfordshire

Unwind in miles of open countryside without the hassle of travelling for hours to get there. Hertfordshire is on London's doorstep but it's picturesque villages, hedgerows and open fields seem to belong to a bygone age. Hertfordshire also offers an ideal shopping experience. Luton

Luton is home to Luton Town Football Club, London Luton Airport, and the University of Bedfordshire. The Luton Carnival, held on the late May bank holiday, is the largest one-day carnival in Europe. Dunstable

For anyone visiting Dunstable a trip to the nearby Dunstable Downs, managed by the National Trust, is a must! For a start, its free! There are stunning views over several counties on a clear day and you can watch gliders being launched skyward from the London Gliding Club. South Central

Berkshire

Berkshire's beautiful countryside includes The North Wessex Downs, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and two National Trails, the Ridgeway and the Thames Path. Buckinghamshire

Hampshire

Oxfordshire

Oxfordshire is essentially an agricultural county of rolling hills and meandering river valleys. The main population centre is the university city of Oxford with the remaining population housed in a series of smaller country towns and many picturesque rural villages. London, the capital of England, is an amazing city. It houses everything you could ever need, and with amazing transport links you can escape to the country whenever you want.
