Epsom physiotherapists receive praise for 'excellent treatment' of Royal Marine

Employees in physiotherapy jobs in Epsom have come in for special praise by two armed forces personnel injured during active frontline service in Afghanistan.
Marines Mark Hendry and David Coleman from 45 Commando have returned to service in Helmand, having received physiotherapy and other treatments back in the UK.
Mr Hendry underwent two operations and a course of therapy at Headley Court in Epsom, where soldiers are given extra support to rebuild strength and fitness.
He explained: "The medical care was brilliant and after a few days I was back in the UK being treated in hospital in Birmingham."
Mr Coleman also praised his treatment. "The medical care I received from the medics at the Role 3 hospital was first class and all the support I got from the unit and my family made me all the more determined to get back to the lads," he explained.
Earlier this week, prime minister David Cameron said he hoped the UK would be able to reduce its force levels in Afghanistan from 9,500 to 9,000 by 2012.
