Those in physiotherapy jobs could be struggling under the pressure of the spending cuts, with NHS hospital wards being closed across the country, according to reports.
An investigation by the Mirror showed that no funds are available to cope with the extra patients during winter, which is bad news for physiotherapists.
In addition, one hospital faces closure, beds are being reduced at another and two have told GPs not to send in emergency patients this winter, the paper reports.
On top of this, patients have seen a sharp rise in waiting times in some hospitals.
John Healey MP, Labour's shadow health secretary has said that the Conservatives are breaking election promises regarding the NHS.
"This is not what people expected when they heard David Cameron promise to protect the NHS," he said.
"His government is now breaking its promises, double-counting £1 billion a year in the Spending Review, as both money for the NHS and money to paper over the cracks in social care."
